This took a little over an hour and a half in MS Paint even though it doesn't look quite like it did.I've always admired people who are able to use only two shades and create vivid shapes from them. I am even more impressed by people who do it with pixels. I took it upon myself to try and learn first by drawing portraits for people on furcadia and tonight I tried it with V from V for Vendetta.
In this particular picture he is extending his hand, reaching for the viewer of the Deviation. I'm notorious for having proportions that aren't quite right but I must admit I am VERY happy with the way this came out. Attack it. Love it. It's yours to critique now. Also I don't mind simple admiration comments too. Sometimes I just look at picture for, you know, entertainment.

Thank you. I think a lot of the shadow covers for my inability to get perspective right most of the time. So long as it entertains it remains good art.

Believe it or not, a lot of MS Paint magic comes out of fear. Fear, that is, of using higher and more technologically advanced programs like Adobe and Jasc. I've learned MS Paint and that's the extent of my comfort zone.

It's pictures like this that make me feel way too vain for my own good. You know it's bad when you're staring at your own stuff for over a half an hour.. Well, they say an obsession is only bad once you begin to kill people over it. And I haven't blown up any buildings yet! Thanks for your comment. I'm not exactly confident in my pixel skills even though I like a lot of what I can do with it. Sociophobia I guess.

Thank you very much. I've been thinking of using this account more and putting some of my V sketches here too. Most of them are with pencil though, pixels are a tough field for me.
