From what I've heard, the only thing this movie adds to the "mythos" is that Preds (or more precisely, bad bloods) go to insane lengths to hunt their prey with hunting "dogs", aerial surveillance and alien abductions. e_e
IMO: It's not their ferocity that makes 'em bad bloods but their inability to do the hunt properly. The entire POINT of the hunt is to be able to kick ass by yourself and prove you're worthy of mating to the females. Only time they ever team up is either for insanely large prey (like a dragon or something the size of a whale) or capturing prey, alive. (Alien Queens, for example.) DX
