I loved the fiery hair ornament for her. The flame came out looking like a dragon and I was quite pleased as you may well imagine!

I just love the way you draw, it's so detailed and realistic, and the face texture (Sorry, I'm not sure what the technique is called), really makes it stand out

If I were to be a bit critical (and hoping you don't take offense), I'd say that she looks a bit out of place over the fire, since she is in front of a source of light but it isn't reflecting off her Nevertheless, a detail in a great drawing. Wonderful work!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I really do appreciate the helpful feedback and suggestions for improvement! I am not offended in the least! I agree the light source is wrong, the photo in the background was a last minute decision and I had already colored the woman at that point. I used scratchboard to create the elementalist [link] . Its were you scratch an image onto a black slate revealing the white bit undeneath. Its like drawing in the negative. Takes a long time but good fun! You have been very helpful! Have a llama

OMG!!!! Such a stunning master piece Shannon! In a way it does kinda resemble some of my features haha ironically I just love love love the background pictures you took too very brilliant and might I add....struck me like a fire ball when I saw it
