I recently rewatched Avatar: The Last Airbender and it dawned on me that it was the greatest cartoon ever created. So I decided to do some Avatar art. I did one painting of Aang that I wasn't crazy about and then I made this piece, depicting all the main bending heroes representing each element
Its very different from the way I usually paint, using black lines and cell shading instead of smooth shading, because I wanted it to be like a cartoon. Its also much brighter overall that most of my other pieces. I really like how it came out and I think I'll definitely do more in this style in the future.
