Description ...for a man, one giant leap for mankind. Nothing like the scene on the moon, but something that inspired me to take this. Hope you like it

NICE ONE TOO, ITS BUMPED? WHATS YOUR TECHNIQUE TO DO THAT?, THE FLOWER ITS A REALLY REALLY GOOD DETAIL, IT GIVES A GOOD CONTRAST EFFECT COMPAREDWITH THE HUGE FOOTPRINT

the footprint looks like it's coming out of the ground.
but i guess it depends on how your mind thinks.
and which was the light was coming from.

great picture, i love the flower.

I find the yellow flower necessary, it adds a little something to the photo that would be otherwise missing.

I really like the footprint but I don't think the flower to the left fit in. I would have manipulated it, erased it. Else, great capture!

I think my favorite aspect of this shot is how our minds play tricks on us to make us think that the footprint is coming up out of the ground, or reaching down into it depending on what we determine the direction of light to be. It makes for a nice optical illusion.

i love how crisp this is.. and, of course, the flower adds the perfect touch too this, but like someone else said.. too bad the flower wasn't just a tad bigger... though... it is also kind of good for the photo that the flower is so small against the footprint. Gives the footprint more power. To me it could be a commentary on how man is ruining the earth.. not a terribly unique thing to see in it I know.. I"m sure lots of people thought the same thing.. but just thought I'd share

wonderful shot. How did you light it?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ageofloss In reply to boysennumba5 [2006-06-07 11:00:59 +0000 UTC]

The ground was lit by the sunset. Cause the source of light was so low it brought out nicely the contrast between different shapes of the ground. Thanks for your question
