I took that picture on a very mist day, so the background was already pretty white.

Thank you so much for the comment. I'm glad you like it. The photo was taken in a very misty day and the tree was standing all alone in the field. Because of the mist it didn't need much of editing. Also I chose one of my favourite colours to it.

just to make it look a bit more artificial, you should've got rid of that mud mound at the foreground just for that edge, otherwise a very nice, beautiful shot

I don't know how funny... or downright creepy you'll find this as much as I did... but the fact that I only saw the thumb nail... and thought to myself "it's plain simplicity" and I open it up only to find... that is exactly it... I had to laugh aloud.
Clearly without even having to think about it, you've captured, and manipulated this piece into exactly wha the title is portraying, even before the viewer knows the title...
they can completely capture the idea. Goes to show, some thought, and talent shine through the simplest of events.
