Description
So I'm going to post this as a deviation and not a scrap.. because it took a lot of work despite what you all may think lol. This picture is made with india ink, a straw, some water, strips of tape, and at times a pen. It was a lot harder to create than you might imagine, lol. I like it, its probably my favorite thing I've done in my Design class so far.
Yay abstract!
I'm new at this type of art.. what do you think?
The only requirement was that it had to be verticle mostly, other than that we could do whatever we wanted.

For a first try, this is truly impressive. (I've been collecting abstracts for, oh, 25 years.) Try again. Soon.

Hey, I didn't know this picture was yours. I had it as my background in Twitter from the beggining. I wanted to say how much I love it. Well, and I hope you don't mind that I use it. I edited the picture a little u_u but I'll never say that is mine or anything like that. You can see it here [link] . Keep working :3

I really love this. I feel like I have entered a strange twisted world that you made up. It is somewhat mysterious as well as beautiful. Keep up the good work!

This reminds me of a dark forest, and I see a face near the top and more to the left... very creative.<3

Yo.
That's amazing. As an artist really digging into India ink and the cramps from working around the pen, I love this. Definitely can appreciate the time and effort you put into this! Fabulous job!
Ja ne!

Most people would look at that and say a 3 year old scribbled it with a sharpie. It takes a real artist to create something like that. It's beauty is far beyond what any normal person can imagine. It is creative, imaginative, and original. It takes a true creative mind to recognize such a thing as a true work of art. Congratulations, I'm impressed.

i absolutely love this. i can just stare at it for hours and get lost in it. thanks for putting it up. it kind of reminds me of a forest with some of the swirls resembling tree circles. lol. and on the right it kind of reminds me of a person (even if u didn't intend for there to be). i'd hate to say something stupid, but it's just really awesome and abstract.

Abstract in a strong sence, but there is an alution of biological forms... branches of trees that seems that draw something, maybe a human face.

pen and ink, or whatever and ink is some sweet material to make art with, my question is: i would love to just get crazy with my pen and ink set and do something like this, but what do you say? what angle would you be exploring to satisfy that area of your professors expectations? my initial reaction to great ink drawings like yours is.."Holy S@&T...that's sweet!"
So did you just do it be abstract? could you not have anything representational? I want to do work like this but I never know what I would say other than I like the way it looks. they want more. So another question might be to you, did you have some inspiration that fueled you beyond having an assignment do?
all the blabbing, great drawing!
