    A figure lay on the ground a bit of a distance away from the front door. The soft carpet underneath them making the fact they were lying on the floor the slightest bit more comfortable. Their bright (E/C) eyes waited expectantly for the door to be opened and for someone else to walk in. They had been in this position for around 10 minutes now. Of course, they were doing it for another reason, not just so that they could see the certain someone walk in.

    A yawn escaped their mouth as they waited for around 5 more minutes. Finally, they heard the familiar sound of the doorknob being turned, and the quiet creak of the door being opened. Their eyes widened a bit from excitement, and their lips spread into a playful grin. They pushed themselves up into a standing position, seemingly going at the speed of light. As soon as the door opened fully a voice called out.

    "(Y/N) HUMAN! I'M H-" The owner of the voice was cut off by a something suddenly colliding with his chest. It was silent for a few moments.

    "What! I was expecting you to fall over! Ugh! You're too tall, Papyrus, my small body is no match for yours." The human known as (Y/N) whined dramatically. Papyrus looked down at the smaller figure, whom had their arms wrapped tightly around him.

    "MAY I ASK... WHY DID YOU WANT ME TO FALL?" His tone was undeniably confused, and a little bit worried as he didn't know if he had upset the human in someway and that was their form of punishment for him. He watched as (Y/N) buried their face into his chest, and heard the quiet sound of them mumbling something. "WHAT WAS THAT?"

    "I said so I would fall on top of you, and then we would have no choice but to cuddle! And it would be really cute and all and we could even maybe smooch a little bit, you know? Cute stuff! But your body is too darn big and I'm not strong enough to knock you over and it's just really unfair!" They groaned loudly in annoyance and disappointment. Once again it was silent, until the human yelped at the feeling of being lifted into the air. They came face to face with Papyrus, who was smiling.

    "IF YOU WANTED TO CUDDLE WITH I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, YOU COULD HAVE SAID SO, DEAR (Y/N)! AFTER ALL, MY CUDDLING SKILLS ARE ALMOST AS GREAT AS MY COOKING SKILLS!" He shouted triumphantly, before bringing the human close to him, and cuddling their smaller form. They wrapped their legs around the skeleton as best as they could, although it was quite difficult. Their arms wrapped around him, and they gladly accepted the hug. Their eyes closed in happiness, simply allowing themselves to feel the warmth of the embrace.

    In a few moments, they felt the figure they were squeezing move. After a few seconds, they felt something soft press against their legs. They opened their eyes and realized they were sitting on the skeletons lap, who was sitting on the couch. The humans legs were against the green cushions. They looked at Papyrus, who had leaned in closer to them and was now sporting an orange colored blush. In return, (Y/N)'s cheeks turned a bright pink from the closeness.

    "(Y/N) HUMAN."

    "Y-yeah?"

    "I AM LUCKY TO HAVE SOMEONE AS GREAT AS YOU IN MY LIFE. WE COMPLIMENT ONE ANOTHER QUITE WELL, DON'T WE?" He smiled at the smaller figure.

    "Y-Yeah! We do." They smiled back at the skeleton, before quickly kissing him on the teeth, as that was the closest they could get to a proper kiss. They felt themselves being pulled closer to Papyrus, and they couldn't help their smile widening into the kiss.
