Description
Harry and Ginny spending a nice spring day at the Hogwarts grounds. Funnily I drew the sketch of this mere hours before ~ildi submitted a pic with a very similar theme. I immediately told her that I had just drawn something like hers, but BEFORE having seen hers. She said: "Agi, you're a legilimens!" But no, I'm notRelated content

ooooooooooooh this is gorgeous! I love Ginny;s hair and the flowers falling, and the breezy feel it gives off! Great job! and wow...did you draw all that grass by hand? if you did that is insane!

No, I didn't draw the grass by hand. There's a cool grass-simulating brush in PhotoShop.

I thougth that might be the case but it was so well done, that I thought just maybe it was done by hand

Well, the pencil lines WERE done by hand, but I could never draw outlines with the computer mouse and I don't have a wacom tablet (yet. I hope someday I will).

So lovely and peaceful... And Ginny has curly hair! Lovely bit of Hogwarts there too!
I think you might want to try adding more colours to everything, like Hogwarts can't be all grey, could it? There must be browns and blacks and other colours here and there. And don't make all the mountains the same colour, same thing with trees and stuff like that. just look at a couple of trees somewhere; there are always differences in colour between them.
Just makes your pretty drawings all the more real.

Originally, before I posted this, two mountains had different colours than the rest. But my mum said I should recolour it because she didn't like it that way. So I did. Now you don't like it. *shrugs* One really can't please everyone...

Oh, I'm so sorry... It's just that mountains really are not the same colour. Unless they're all exactly at the same spot with the same distance from the sun, etc. etc.
It's okay though, don't worry about it Follow what your mum says

"Magic Faraway Tree" was SO cute. *enjoyed these books so much*
Although I had to wait for a very long time to read them though they weren't available in German. All we have here are "Famous Five", "The Adventure"-series and this one about the twins. *forgot title - never liked this series*
"Magic Farawy Tree" was one of the ebst stories Enid ever wrote. *loved the illustration as well*
