Description
In an interview after the release of Deathly Hallows, Rowling said that what Dumbledore really saw in the mirror of Erised was himself with his parents and siblings around. I was too lazy to draw his parents, but I drew Ariana and Aberforth (and the goat!
). Oh, and of course, the woollen sock (just one, I was again lazy to draw a pair) that he claimed to see in the Erised in HP and the Philosopher's Stone...Blimey, I hated doing that mirror frame... that was one heck of a work! I hope it was worth it...

It's what a person desired. He desired having all his family with him, and Aberforth was a relative so he would of course show up. And yeah he still did have Aberforth.

AWWWW. How could Harry think that he was not telling him the truth. He did see himself holding a sock but he also saw his brother and sister and Harry did not really need to know that I guess. When I first read DH I was starting to not like Dumbledore but reading it over I fully understood. 6 more days till DH part 1!!!!!! <3

oh, the funniest part about that to me is that when my BFF and i went to see HBP in theaters, we were at the part when Dumbledore is shooting fire at those inferi things, and she leaned over and whispered "Santa Claus!"
