FULLVIEW! Looks better that way...After I saw Superman Returns two weeks ago and absolutely fell in love with the movie (with the new Superman himself too, LOL), I thought it was time for some Superman-related art (and more to come soon...)
This is Lois Lane (more or less based on Kate Bosworth from SR), between Superman II and Superman Returns. Pregnant and lonely, waiting for her love to return, but the bastard is gallivanting among the stars, oblivious to the fact that he'd knocked her up in S II. Poor, poor Lois...
Btw, I LOVED the child-plottwist in SR. It was original and refreshing, and lil Jason was such a cuuuutie! Supes having a kid who accidentally throws pianos across the room is FUN...
Btw, for those who liked the SR movie, I've started writing a post-SR fanfic. You can check it out here: [link] If you read it, be sure to review!

About Richard:
I felt Richard was a good guy, who didn't deserve that crap from Lois and Superman. I mean, he even helped saving Superman! Also in a way I felt Richard is somehow as brave as Superman if not more, after all he acted as a hero but without having any superpower to aid him, unlike Superman. I think the movie makers should make Richard less likeable if they wanted not to have some people rooting for him. A divorced from Richard Lois, or a bad tempered or cheater Richard would have worked better.
About Lois saving Superman:
I don't feel Lois having the physical strength needed to save Superman the way she did is believable.

Ah, so that. Yeah, I too found it funny that Lois pulled Supes out of the water... but hey, it's just a fairy tale, after all Richard... yeah, I see your point. I'm currently writing a post-SR fanfic and I want to handle Richard very carefully. Most fanfic authors either make him die (the easiest, but IMHO stupidest way), or wallow in self-pity then step aside. I intend to do it differently. I always strive to write unique things, be different from the average
I hope I manage that this time too.

Well, I liked Superman comic, and I liked the "Lois and Clark" series. The old movies I saw them when I was a child. I liked better the idea of Lois and Clark series in the sense that there is more about Clark as a person than the original movies. The latest movie I didn't like that they didn't explain half of the stuff, and also I disliked the way they handled romance. I mean, I ended rooting for Lois' boyfriend, who was a very good guy, instead of Superman. Superman having a kid is not bad idea but the way they handled it was completely cheesy to me.

The others weren't that great, but SR rocks. If you decide to go watch SR, then drop me a note, and I'll summarize SI and SII for you, so that you'll understand SR.

Okay, here's the summary of SI and SII.
Superman was sent to Earth by his parents Jor-El and Lara from Planet Krypton that was about to be destroyed. His spaceship fell on a corn field in Smallville, Kansas. The owners of the farm, Martha and Jonathan Kent took him in and raised him as their son Clark. As he grew up, he realised he had special powers. He moved to
Metropolis, became a reporter of the Daily Planet, partnering with Lois Lane
whom he fell in love with. Lois, however, only had eyes for Superman, not
suspecting that Clark was him.
Then there was the evil guy Lex Luthor who wanted to kill Supes and found
out that the only thing Supes wasn't invulnerable to was Kryptonite. I'm not
sure if he used Kryptonite against Supes in movie one, but perhaps he did.
In movie two, Lois figured out that Clark was Supes and told him she was in
love with him. This happened at a honeymoon hotel by Niagara Falls, where
they were pretending to be married to write an article on the hotel. Supes
too told her he loved her. Then he took her to the Arctic, to his crystal
palace, where he asked the hologram of his long dead parents what he should
do in order to live with a human woman. They told him that the only way was
if he became a human himself. So Clark gave up his powers and slept with
Lois there in the crystal palace.
Then he found out that three evil people from Krypton survived and invaded
Earth, and were terrorising people. So he got his powers back and stopped
the evil guys. Lois was torn, so Supes took her memories of who he really
is, and of what had happened between them.
Now you will surely understand SR.

It happened in Superman II, as the new movie ignores the existence of Superman III and IV, only builds on SI and SII. In SII Lois and Clark spent a night together.

As far as I heard, SIII and SIV sucked. I think I saw SIII years ago but it was SO FORGETTABLE that I don't remember a thing of it. SR, however, isn't forgettable at all. It's a movie I'll always remember and love

Well, don't think it's a perfect movie. Far from it. It has its faults, has smaller plot holes, some slower parts, but compared to the old ones, it's 'grand and bombastic' - quoting the line that describes the movie on imdb.com, the biggest movie database
