The faces are so detailed and somewhy they doesn't disappear under the colors. If the portraits are first and then the coloring.
Does someone know what kind of pen is it? I don't think it's ballpoint pen.

this is beautiful i love the color choices, the only thing i have that's even close to a critique of this piece is that the bright white around the girl on the lefts mouth makes it the focal point. and the warm yellow buy her neck combined with it almost makes the girl on the rights face a background element instead of a foreground element. as long as you intend to have the one on the left be the center focus that this is perfect.
