Water-tastic!
Your work is strong because you let the watercolor flow and become inspired by its movement on the canvas. The speckled white in the painting gives interest and does not distract from the face. I also enjoy the relationship between the face and the moon - by using the dark sky looking area to connect them I am always drawn back to the face.
I wonder if you could take this concept further. I have seen darker and more processed pieces from you before and I feel that they have been some of your most successful. Working larger may have a strong impact as well. I would also like to see new subject matter - even for practice!
In short: This is a beautiful artwork demonstrating mastery in craft! I wonder if you could go even farther or work on a more variety of subjects in your work.
I am a HUGE FAN! I have been viewing for years. I hope you found this critique helpful.

Wow!
I love the wet-on-wet and dry brush mixture that you have going on. The moon is superb, so are the facial features and proportions. I am trying to understand what is going on with the diagonal pattern that starts at the shoulder and goes down through the thorax. Also the lines on the left arm are slightly distracting. I think several, layered, single washes would have been better than three. In all, this is an incredible piece. You inspire me. Some day, I will be able to paint like you do.
Do you give on-line lessons? I would love to incorporate your methods into my bucket of tools. Normally, I approach this kind of thing the way I do my architectural illustrations. Your method has so much freedom over mine.
Thanks,
John

Nice work! You had no intention to make it more opaque?

Good watercolor effects. Transparacy and impression of lightness.

Your color scheme looks very well thought out and your hair is very successful even though you don't focus on every strand. Your different techniques are quite cohesive and i really like the effect it presents here. The subject looks interesting and correct, and the textures nicely guide the eye across the diagonals you made. I truly enjoy your work. Thank you!

It's as if the moon is her heart and it bleeds for the constellations to awaken her eyes. Enchanting...
