your welcome and I understand, sometimes it's easier to come up with the design for the character than the backstory, for me it's the other way course I'm also better at writing than I am at drawing so that explains it. I almost can't imagine the character until I decide what their personality and backstory.

With me - I just see little pieces - the look, few scenes with no connection between them, and thus my writing never goes further than few pages with loose notes. So I prefer drawing.
