I think I did this piece back in 2016 (-ish). Back then, I really liked body horror, and I had just discovered what trypophobia was, so that's what's going on here.

I would also add smiling masks to pretty much everything I did. It was supposed to be a simple hiding-your-feelings metaphor, but at some point, I started to draw them in just because I liked them.

I like the fact that this one is missing a horn on the same side as she is missing part of her skull (her brain is leaking out, sick!) Maybe it took some real force to take that mask off.
