Happy Valentine's Day!I made this last year, I can't believe it's been this long. The funny thing is that I've had this drawing as my pfp ever since I made this account, but I'm just now posting it.
I really like the concept of a heart-shaped ribcage. I think that was how this design was born, I just wanted to draw some bones... that and a pair of long boots. Also, I like the idea that because her chest is just that, bones, she doesn't need to wear a shirt, so she just doesn't. Now, I have no idea how that arrow/harpoon thing works. Hopefully, nobody dies from it. I mean, that would give the phrase "to love is to suffer" a whole new meaning, right?
I still have some stuff I want to post from last year, but I feel like I've come a long way. Before, I was posting things from, maybe, three or four years ago. This (in my book) is recent, and it looks more like my style today. Going through my sketchbook, I found some unfinished drawings that aren't as bad as I remembered. I think I tend to diminish my art more than I should. Being self-aware of your capabilities is one thing, but sometimes, I end up putting myself down.
So yeah, I'm hopeful that I'll post recent art soon.
