well I think the reason being is they wanted to start fresh, But beast was in First Class right? I know not as what he became but he was in there right?

yea he's actually the only real original member from the comics in the film but they made him change into the blue furry too fast in the film and also they have Havok as a Member of the X-men but not Cyclops i dont get why would they put the lil brother of an original member when Havok Joined the X-men after being apart of X-factor and the film is set in the 1960's jus like the comics Fox once again dont know what their doing

probably for that reason I said, they wanted to change the line up and I guess it would make some sort of sense that it's more connected with the last three films. Since Mystique will later join Magneto by the end of the film. Maybe it should've been named something else rather than First Class.

yep cause its so outta place its not even funny cause they want this movie to be a restart of the entire Franchise but how can this movie restart anything if it has nothing to do with the original movie when in the first movie they mentioned Cyclops and Jean as the first students of the X-men

Well I'll be seeing the movie and I might like. But I do see what you mean! And yeah it doesn't make sense since all this stuff happened in the beginning. But it might be entertaining movie-wise, continuity wise though, pretty much fucked like a 2 dollar whore.

The purpose of film trailers are to look good, the purpose of an interview is to persuade people to see it. Nobody's going to say anything negative becuase if they do they get the boot.
Unfortunately Fox still has the ability to produce good trailers...Had they had Lionsgate's marketing team we would have the X-men in he palms of Marvel right about now...Where they're sorely needed.

Wait, all 'trailers' are an important marketing method, and of course, the most of them are 'amazing', so you have to see the movie in order to evaluate if the movie is good or not.
For example immortal's trailer looks too fantastic, like clash of titan's trailer.

A movie like first class is best saved for the little screen or on a bootleg version, the more you give money t fox the less of a chance Marvel gets the rights back...
