Description
An image started as a drawing with polychromos on paper, then coloured in Photoshop. I don't often do landscapes in linedrawing cause the colouring stage usually takes me way too long. But I do enjoy the drawing. And the end result too actually.Related content

Reminds me of spores from borderlands games. Thank you for this beautiful artwork and for nostalgic feeling of times playing Borderlands 2.

Do my eyes deceive me, or is that a ship graveyard down in the bottommost foreground? Seem to see some overgrown classic rocketships, among them a leaning tailsitter not much larger than the smallest rising pod.

Well, not intentionally, but then again: what do I know? Could be anything you see in it.

Then with your blessing, I will see four or five utterly retired tailsitters under a respectable cover of alien pollen, dwarfed and nearly out of sight on the forest floor.
This is a really inspiring piece to see. Never heard anyone mention Polychromos in a sketching capacity before. I will certainly keep this in mind and pass it forward as exemplary if I see anyone looking to learn coloured pencils or mixed media.
Well done.

Well thank you for the beautiful description of your view on it. That's the beauty, right there, where you can see your own unique scene in a work of art.

My favorite part of this piece is the colors. I love how they contrast.Β
