Here is my latest CSS journal. Generally I will create a journal for myself and then post up and image and let it go, but this time i am posting up the CSS for you to look at and use. Here's what's going down:I AM GOING TO MAKE YOU A TITLE IMAGE. Yes you read right. There is an image that is critical to this journal that happens to have a picture of me and my name on it. Well that won't do for you, so I will personally make one for you. Why? Because I fell like it.
Just send me your first name, a link to a good photo of you, and any instructions (b/w, color, etc...) and I will replace my name and photo with yours. The catch? A link back would be great. That's it. I mean you can fav, comment, watch me... whatever you want, but a link back to me is all I really ask for.
Guidelines
1. You may use this journal as a base for another; alter it or use as a reference.
2. All images used are already hosted, but you must host your own title image.
3. I would like a link back to me somewhere.
When you download, you get the instructions on how to implement, or if your just using it a a reference, then just use the code. But everything is there, and I will help if you need it, but remember, figuring things out on your own helps you understand how it works. Good luck!

Just wanted to give you a hi and say that I have used this design as base for me own journal design, pimped you some on the first journal post! Hope it's ok that I have modded it quite heavy. Feel free to check it out

This has got to be one of the best looking AND free-to-use journal CSS for DA!
I got my subscription a few days ago and jumped right into writing the CSS for my journal but ended up with headaches and got nothing done.
I used quite a number of base codes from other members, but none worked quite as well as yours!
Plus, this is browser compatible with Firefox, IE and Opera, which makes me even happier.
I altered some parts but you can see the structure is similar. You can see it on my main page

I just implemented this CSS, having modified the graphics to suit something more to my tastes... and I have to say, this is a brilliant package---as well as a real service to the community.
Not only have you given us plenty of room to add in myriad things of our choosing, but it's done so in a neat and very condensed way. I'm certainly a novice with CSS coding, but then I must applaud you again for your extremely simple instructions!
How this Resource has garnered under 30 faves as of now, is really beyond me. You even included an RSS option---and as far as promoting our galleries, it doesn't get any better than that.
Thank you immeasurably. I have a feeling I'll be hanging on to this layout for awhile, and swapping out graphics as I see fit.

That stuff is defined by
.journalbox .list {
display: none;
}
.journalbox .list .a {
display:none;
}
To see them you remove the 'display: none' tag. You can moved it around using absolute positioning and edit the colors and text. The first one controls most of the stuff, the second one is the variation, so it looks stripped.

You should make the download a zip file...word documents don't like to be downloaded from dA servers
