He was like 40 years old! How was I supposed to know that me saying I had high standards when it comes to relationships would offend him so much
What did he think I was going to do? "No I don't have one D: Will you be my forever guy?! ¬.¬" <-- My response to my brother at the end of the comic 
*sigh* Sometimes I wish I was better in social situations
sometimes I think I should just stay away from people 
I just don't understand other people's feelings at all. I need to read a book about socializing xD... I seem to be the kind of person who needs specific instructions for social situations otherwise I just mess up...
What do you think? If you understand what I mean.

not as bad as my brother though ^^ but I was looking after him <3 I don't get to spend time with my brother much anymore. It mean't alot to me <3I made such good friends out of the old guy T^T He was totally lovely <3 So nice, he could tell how awkward I am in this kind of environment AND he was into digital art
.The bar I was in is where my brother works ^^ I was VERY out of place. Its a sports bar and normally full of older men.... I walked in and the first thing someone said to me was "Are you lost!?" xD

I say something very similar to what you said about the boyfriend, but I say 'I don't and I don't care to have one getting in the way of my dreams of having a ranch/dairy farm. That way I know they can come true.

I was in the same kind of situation around a year and a ago I think. xD
It was in class and we got this new boy and he was sitting next to me, and he asked me a lot of stuff and somehow we got to that topic and I went all 'I will probably never have a boyfriend, cause there's practically noone who meets my standards anyway.' and he was totally 'What?'. xD
I always answer such questions like this... simply because the moment somebody asks me this, I know that they're not the right one for me. 
I have high standards when it comes to boys who are not my 'one and only'. I have no idea who my one and only is, but I'm sure I would know if I met him. ^^

I have a lot of interactions with people that end like this too, so it's not just you. If that counts for anything. I seem to be too blunt for people to handle. To me, it's just time-saving.

Aww, don't you worry! It's good to have high standards, otherwise you'd be stuck with a scumbag, and no one wants one of those! I too have the same thought process as you, honestly. I'm generally really awkward in social situations, and I am the same way when it comes to relationships too. Nothing we ever say or explain will make sense to people that don't know us very well, or aren't like-minded.
Stay who you are, and how you are! Don't worry so much about what other people think, if they don't like it they can just move on or learn to deal with it!

I have the same issue in social situations. T.T; What I say makes perfect sense to me, but it comes across totally different to the other person. I need a translator sometimes I swear.

I wasn't born with social skills like my brother and sister, I had to be taught all of mine by my mother. They diagnosed that social problem in me, and now when I'm in public, I'm either with friends or family, because they kind of act like translators when I'm talking to strangers. At work I don't have any friends, which is why I get in trouble so much. T.T That and I work with all adults pretty much, and they're not very patient or understanding.
