By Islamic law it's named as a Sin and it's not legal.
You may go and search for it and you should find someone that have a deeper knowledge to help but the bottom line that many scientists has gone with make it ill-gotten. The reason for this that they're aware that some people may misuse the Fatwa and take drugs just claiming it's a cure. At the end it's all up to who uses such medicine and the use of it.
I would strongly suggest going to a trusted Islamic center to get a proper answer. I wish that Allah gives you good health.
One last thing, in my opinion it's fine to use drugs but under extreme conditions that there is no medicine can have the proper effect of cure, and to avoid getting addicted.

I do have one question, I see the ankh symbol listed as haraam...as it is a graven image.. I have a western upbringing and egyptian background on my father's side, he is not muslim... I need to clarify, its haraam to wear the ankh symbol in all islamic societies? (I have a necklace of it)
Islam is now world-wide and has so many different takes on specific things like this, it sometimes misleads me... for example drawing artwork, instead of calligraphy, is haraam in some societies and not in others

In Islam , there is no symbol .. we don't carry any symbol as an identity .. other religion do have symbols so they're more pagan than a believer.
About drawing .. some people said that drawing human (or any living thing) is haram because it's like challenging the God in creation .. Here's a group of fatwas ..

But if you think about it this is all stupid because of the fact the Muslim scientists were first to use detailed figures to explain Anatomy and they invented the camera .. in addition, today no one is going to hang a picture to warship it (unless he's not a Muslim) .. the point of drawing is not to draw nude or restricted figures (cross or so) and never make it match to nature!
You can ask others but this what i think is correct!
