You can do some very interesting things with coloured pencils, you. It's a very good idea and when I opened it, it was instantly appealing. The lighting, composition and all things technical are as close to perfect as you can get. Was it just on a white table? (If I've already asked you that, I'm sorry to ask twice.)

We are all attracted to different things. Some people can look at a dead tree and think it is an eyesore but, someone with just the right eye can look at the same dead tree and think of it as beautiful like it's got words written on it that only some people can see.

People see the stuff that isn't quite made into what it can be and so they say it's crap just like you said. Well, in the story there's a construction worker and every day he goes to work and when it gets to lunch break he opens his lunch box and says "oh no! Not peanut butter and jelly again!" Well, after a while, his coworkers get sick of hearing him complain so they ask him "If you hate peanut butter and jelly so much why don't you ask your wife to pack something different in your lunch?" The construction worker replied "I can't do that because I pack my own lunch." So, the point of the story is we have all this stuff around us that we think is bad but if we don't do anything to try and change it then we have no right to complain 
If you thought that was weird wait till I bring up the story "good or bad" and the broom story
