Lol..fuzzy? Is it true that the fluffy stuff makes you blind when it gets in your eye? Or is that like the old-wives' tale that 1) Your insides will knot if you swallow chewing gum 2) You will sink if you swim after a big meal 3) Pumpkin makes your hair curl etc. ?

Indeed fuzzy. Like fuzzy & warm ya know? And inside's knotting? Whoa the old wife told me that the gum gets stuck in your stomach and never comes out. Or if you swallow a watermelon seed then the watermelon will grow up through your mouth and in your stomach. Aha pumpkin?!

OMW, forgot 'aboot' the watermelon! I have this distinct memory of when I was 5 or so, sitting at my grandparents' kitchen table when they still lived in Johannesburg, when I was told that very thing--It genuinely scared me so much, I felt sick, sweaty and horrified. THen years later I heard that there's acid in your tummy... I slept well again..
