This one was pretty fun. It was a collaboration with RachelofNorth (link to her profile: www.deviantart.com/rachelofnor… ). She gave me the sketch, and I finished it off. The original sketch wasn't nearly so fancy, just a rough sketch of a dragon in an hourglass, with nothing else really happening in the background, as well as the title of the piece. It was a lot of fun to play with the idea though.
It's not perfect, by any means. I took a lot of shortcuts, and could have done a lot better on things like anatomy, and shading. But I'm still really pleased with the results, so whatever.
