When I was drawing this, I started to doubt why I am drawing.Obviously, I can't draw him([link] ) alike enough, so he can never recognize it is him, and of course he will not be very happy to see this picture.
And I don't even know who he is, so this picture will do nothing good for him because I can't link this to his... website or profile if he has one.
And, I can almost guess who will comment this picture because I have VERY VEEEEEEEEEEEERY small pageviews or favs, basically, almost nobody will bother having a look at it. and I know those nice people(less than 3) who commented me just want to comfort me. Instead of being happy, my drawings is more like ... a burden, I guess...
So why am I still drawing? All I know is I feel better and better listening to my pen rubbing on the tablet. ... pervert? lol
I confess it is really frustrating when only 2 people fav and comment on my drawings. I feel a little... useless... lol

Please Aho, never ever ever ever stop drawing! You are one of my idols, I SERIOUSLY look up to your work! To me, you are one of the most amazing and friendly artists I have ever had the chance to speak with, even though it's only with text! The way you shade faces is just..it's stunning! Especially in this, you did an exceptional job with the values, I have no idea how you do it so well..I think every single piece you do captures an amazing feeling, and I have spent hours staring at your work.
It doesn't matter if a picture doesn't look exactly like a reference, you are not a printer! What matters is taking the reference and making it your own. It's like when a band does a cover of a song. You don't want it to sound exactly like the original!

But for me it does matter that my picture doesn't look exactly like its reference, because I tried to do that but failed! A good artist should not draw like a printer but should be able to do it!
I am too far from good enough. Just have a look around, there are a million artists who can draw like a printer! I am just too ... anxious to be one of them.
XD Don't worry about me! I will never stop drawing(unless I lose both my hands or get blind), in fact, I will practice more! I want to be like those good artists! XD

Both the boy and your likeness are absolutely gorgeous. I think he would recognize himself if he saw this picture.
As for people not commenting/favoriting, don't worry about it. Just because they're invisible doesn't mean they're not there. For myself, this is the first picture of yours I've commented on, I think. I don't usually comment unless I have something to say aside from 'oh wow looks awesome!'. It has nothing to do with the quality of your totally awesome art; that's just how I roll.
Anyway, keep doing what you do. Your art is a treat to look at and it's obvious you care a lot about it. Don't get sucked into the internet's trap; art is not a popularity contest.

Okay I am not trying to comfort you but I am stating my opinion :I
They look almost identical. The ears are the biggest difference and it isnt even that big >(
But don't worry about the people commenting and stuff, I know its hard D: and if there was a secret to it I would be popular by now hehe
Your art is so nice and I love looking at them. But then the "popular" deviants are these people who mostly draw for others including fan art, anime, etc.
Dont get me wrong theyre great and all but I doubt they could pull off the stuff you do
Soo KEEP DRAWING! For yourself and maybe if you want to win over a fan or two you can draw for others xD

hahaha Thank you very much!! I believe that drawing for others is a very good concept for an artist, because not all artists can make it that 'People love everything I draw', that's too difficult! But an artist can still be a good one to become a 'I draw what people like' style artist! XD Guess I am just ... not good enough to be the former one now, but I will continue trying and I will try to draw what people like in the future. Because it really sucks that Nobody wants to have a look at my drawings, though there is really nothing interesting to see. XD
