It's been sometime since I watched this anime, and I'm not really sure whether I liked it or not
The story was okay, art was quite lacking (there were a lot of weird looking scenes), but the music was awesome
I only own the picture, the characters belong to Qualidea Code

Yeah qualidea code had quite a lot of flaws, but the twist was pretty cool xD Asuha and Kasumi carried the series for me kinda.
To me, it felt like Kasumi was the real main character, and edgelord was just the one you're initially supposed to perceive as the main character.
Maihime is pretty cute too.

I agree, throughout the story the Chiba siblings were my favorite, and ofc who could hate a hyper-energetic-grey-haired girl wearing an awesome looking admiral jacket XD
But for me, I kind of felt Canaria as the main character

By the way, the Chigusa sibling's mother was a main character in the Light Novel Qualidea of Scum and a Gold Coin, which was released in January 2015.
Her real name was Yu Chigusa.

I realized there are four different light novels (each having at least one volume to it) with three writers, and I havent checked any of them so I'm totally obilivious about stories featured in these LNs. So I was wondering, is Qualidea of Scum and a Gold Coin continuation of the story from the anime? Or is it a prequel?
