When I was a kid, there was a game on NES - TMNT: Tournament fighters, where turtles had different color palettes. I really liked that thing back then. So I use the exact palette with more darker tones. Plus, it adds a good contrast between the characters and reflects Raph's inner gloomy state better.

Идея разного цвета кожи у черепах мне понравилась ещё в детстве с Торнамент файтерс на денди. Оч помогает передать различия внутреннего настроя каждого их них.

В принципе, скорее всего Лео отделал бы Рафа, если бы Сплинтер не был настроен выслушать его. Может, потому он так по-самурайски спокоен)

Tattooing has a long history in a life of a samurai. It's an important part of bushido. Raphael has a traditional samurai tattoo on his shoulder and Leonardo has a dragon on his shell like a samurai would have it on his armor.
