welllll here is A Picture.As usual, I liked this piece at its moment of completion (probably because, when you've spent weeks on something, you have to like it when its done to avoid *intense* bouts of painguish,) but my confidence in it has been steadily declining over the past 24 hours. I'll refrain from pointing out all my mistakes here, though, as some of you scold me for it. :C
Gauze as a Mastersmith and his pet bongun Vinyl, in the industrial city of Einbroch. My last RO picture was in Einbroch, too-- what can I say? I LOVE EINBROCH. I have about a half a million screenshots of the city. None of which really look anything like this. :C
But, it's all about the color scheme.
Normally I don't encourage this type of thing, but this time I can assure you that the full-view has something to offer.

I'm not sure but Gauze sounds veeery familliar from IRO =s I used to play back in the old old days, was a Swordie/knight named Elazul and later a Crusader named Ghost on Chaos.

Yar I played Elazul every version from Alpha till the 2ndary classes came (crusaders etc). I always had the name Ghost but didnt really play that char untill the Crusader 8D

Wonderful! I am quite an avid fan of the Bongun and they way you have drawn it here is excellent. Oh, and one could quite see that it is indeed Einbroch in the background.

I love all the details expecially on the background O_O the color scheme really makes it feel like it's in the city... X3 it even looks like there's dust in the air~
especially the pipes and the bricks >3< the ones on the floor look amazing and also the cracks ;D
X3 the pants of the whitesmith look great~ it's like it has texture on it D: *touches screen* and the anatomy...
and all the folds on the bongun's suit >3< aaaa they look so flowy and real~ XD the bongun's hat looks so cute~ especially the ball on top X3 so shiny~

Nobody can blame you for loving Einbroch, Gauzey.
This picture is awesome. I love Vinyl's sleeves, and the texture on Gauze's jeans. Very well done. The cityscape is an excellent portrayal of how I picture the city, too. You got talent, man.

The coloring and textures really draw me to this picture, especially on Gauze's pants, and the background in general. The tiles are well done, as well as the buildings, but the last plan, where the buildings fade out with the perspective. That's definitly a nice effect! Something I have a hard time doing x_x... I keep trying, but most of the time it looks off compared to the rest lol Go figure...
The character design is also interesting, and quite sexy as well! (I mean, Gauze... DAMN! O_O LOL! ) I particularly enjoy how Vinyl stands out so much compared to the rest, because of the brightness of the colors to him. Yet he doesn't seem not to be fitting with the current scene
My only critic might be with the composition of the picture itself. Where there's a few awkward perspective points, it doesn't seem as striking as it may seem. I think there may have been a better effect had we seen the characters fully, rather then cropping the picture just before their feet. The sense of composition and perspective would have been amplified and would've given the picture even more depth.
Aside from that, it sure looks great to me! Good work!

You don't know how much it means to me to see someone take more time than it takes to type "nice pic" to show you're really looking at the picture. I appreciate the critique, too, and I agree. I need a lot of work with composition because it's not something I think about a lot when I draw. ^^ Thanks very much!
