Description
I randomly decided to try drawing hands. I traced my own a couple times....>< I suck. One turned out okay, though. Joyous progress!

Hands can be pretty tough, especially if you have weird...drawing dyslexia...maybe...like me, where I know I'm drawing a right hand, so I know 'okay but from this side I'd have to look at my left', and then I'm all like, 'shit dude, I'm drawing WITH that hand, what now?!' and so I try to visualize in my mind the structure of my right hand only in the right directions and proportions and then...and then...
*collapse*
Hands confuse me
Overall, though, not bad for a first try - you've been gradually working your way down, and now that you're getting a better handle on some head practice, busts, and a couple full-body drawings, the hands are an obvious next step. For a first attempt it's really not terrible, and the one in the center is fairly accurate. That 'hand limp by my side' pose is always the biggest bitch to me, personally, so it takes a lot of practice and referrence. To me the hardest part about drawing hands is that you can never truly accurately observe your own as you draw them, as one will always be in use, and because most people aren't ambidextrous they can only practice with their opposite hand.
Keep it up, though!! Maybe you should consider using your conspiracy powers to steal someone else's hands for referrence?
(That made soooooo little sense but...I'm keeping it, shut up.)

<,<; Yes, trying to draw my opposite hand wasn't very fun. That open-palmed hand actually started out as a left hand, but I realized I drew the lines wrong and went 'oooh! If I do this, it'll be a good right hand. Let's do that.' *sweatdrop*
Domooooooo~! *snuggles*
Conspiracy powers... good idea...! Maybe I can practice drawing paws, too. *stare*

No worries, hands are really tough, and it takes a while to get used to them. I've been drawing them for about seven years now and I still mess up a lot. It takes a lot of practice.
Tracing your own hands is a good idea, though! Keep practicing it. Try drawing your hands from observation too, without tracing, or by using that "blind contour" method I tought you. It'll teach you how to observe better, which is the #1 thing an artist needs to know.
I also like the fact that you're working in basic shapes here. I can see the circles that you used for the palms, and the shapes you used for the fingers in one of them. Fantastic! Keep thinking like this, figuring out how to break down complex objects into basic shapes. It makes things ten thousand times easier.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks ^,^;
<,<; The basic shapes I used were a circle and... uh, little extension lines. >,> Are there any better ones?
I found hand models in my e-book! *victory dance*

Nope, those are pretty much the basic shapes right there,
But despite the simplicity, you'll find that when you get into more complex hand poses, it suddenly makes things a looot easier.
Plus don't forget: simplicity in art is never a bad thing! Simple approaches are often the best ones. If you start simply you can usually add on to a work later with more complex details.
