Ok on your magic wand and lasso there is a check box for anti-alias, it should be un-checked. If you leave it checked it gives you soft edges, which is nice for rendering but it leaves funky halos of color if you do it with flats because you can't select the whole color due to the soft edges.
Also use your pencil tool rather than the paintbrush to fix any little areas, the paintbrush leaves the soft edges too, but the pencil doesn't.
