Yikes did this sit on the sketchpad forever. But an experiment in (almost) monochrome.Boy do I love blue jays. They are pretty awesome birds, so here, have a bunch of them. Front and center is Mati, the one and only, true blue bird. And immediately to the right is Lark. Not a "jay", but being a corvid, and with her coloration we can think of her as jay-by-proxy. On the far right is Stella, the stylish Stellers Jay. Really like her crest design. And on the left, just two new random birds, a scub jay next to Mati and on the far left is a black-throated magpie jay. Might end up keeping them as characters, especially the magpie jay. ^v^
