the main plot ...lets see
is about a family who goes to an island to their anual meeting and a typhoon comes...
and they are killed one after another.
they blame a witch for the murders but the protagonist doesnt believe in witches.
so the ``witch´´ is going to take him to various worlds (when the sames murders happends but with some differences) to proof him that witches exist.
the ''witch'' will win if the protagonist accept that the witches exist (she is supposed to win her existence) and the protagonist is going to win if he proves that witches and magic doesnt exists (he will win his freedom and his familiΒ΄s freedom)
