Well awwwe the whole summery that was going on in my head was that, this would be after a sudden attack by some thieves or maybe a wild animal.
The female character, Charlotte, is really cowardly and she can only cast one spell a day, so maybe when Wes needed her to help him she couldnt assist him in the fight or whatever so he ended up getting his arse whopped...lol Ahh dont know!
I havent worked the story out yet! lol but there's alot of....rooomantique tension or whatnot lol from these two. hahah

She's a witch so...he probably wanted her to heal his arm. But she sucks at magic, she can only cast one spell a day...sometimes not even :- p
I also kind of explained how he got the cut in the bottom reply :- D
