I really enjoyed your view of young Ged, gave him an air of innocence that many tend to ignore concentrating more on the features of which will be the great Archmage.

The truth hard to accept seeing the legendary archmage reduced to a "mere mortal" But more surprising is to see how LeGuin knew give a realistic and satisfying end based on just that.
