awkward position of the guy....lol but i do like the spatial feel overall. XD lately, i think i'm obsessed with checkers and pokers....hm...so much homework, and yet, i'm here procrastinating. lol

you mean the glow around the guy? If you know photoshop here's how it goes:
select the around around the guy, feather it with a high number of pixels, then on a new layer fill the selected area with white. ^-^
