here's better picture to express my concern for japan...please recover, tokyo! ><did you know that there's a seed (they look like dandelions) and if you catch one you can make a wish with it...i like to catch them a lot.
painted this with the new Reeves Gouache set ("Gouache" has a funny pronounciation. tehee~) i bought for design project. It's like the cheapest one. they are something in between watercolor and acrylic. very hard to manage....>< need practice. XD

I think you did nicely with the Gouache (looks like a funny pronunciation). It was a good choice, considering the subject matter; the colors are soft and bright, and hopeful. Well done!

Oh i know those seeds, we have them alot here around springtime, but i always heard that if you take it when its still on the stem and wish , then blow the seeds off the stem your wish will come true
