Leigh has a tendency to rush in and help even if's super dangerous, some may call her stupidly brave. She's also really headstrong and self motivated. However she can get a bit overboard and step into becoming a stubborn butt about her decisions, causing her to sometimes stir up already brewing trouble. Leigh is resourceful and works with what she has. If she doesn't have what she needs, she isn't afraid to steal either. Although Leigh comes of as aloof with her resting bitch face, she is really caring to those she's close to, often spoiling them.

Coming from a lower class family, she has been taught to live a frugal lifestyle, spending money on things she needs and forgoing her luxuries if funds are low. Due to her past experiences, she's grown very distrusting with authoritative figures and people of power in general. "With power comes corruption" she tells herself, unwilling to change her view on them. Leigh can also be quite possessive with her relationships or items, she doesn't fancy sharing things and potentially having them being stolen. She also displays her "distaste for failure" but she's really just a sore loser and comes up with excuses when she does loose.

TL;DR: Comes from a low income family, admires her too-good-for-this-world sister who would save her butt when she acted recklessly. She had accidentally injured her sister from misjudging her strength before after loosing her cool. After that she learnt how to act less on impulse until she mixed with the wrong crowd in high school. During summer break, that group attempted to prank someone by moving their car but Leigh's sister tries to stop them causing a ruckus. In the mess, Leigh tackled the "friend" but didn't realize they were baring a knife at her sister and caused her sister to get stabbed. The commotion alerted the authorities so they were forced to run. Leigh's sister told her to run and leave her and Leigh was eventually forced to do so. Leigh then ran away from home and learnt to live on her own. Age 22, she had enough and joined the rebellion to fight for her rights.

She had a mom who was a housewife, a dad who was a lowly office clerk and an older sister whom she has always looked up to. Her sister was the type to never show the weight of things on her face, always smiling and chirpy when she had to juggle 2 jobs. As a Special, her family always tells her to lay low, don't act suspicious and don't draw attention to herself. She tried her best but as a child, she always argued with kids in the neighborhood and at school. Leigh hated being discriminated even at a young age but didn't see the consequences if she had acted out. Every time this happened, her sister would always seem to step in at the right time before she could cause any trouble.

There was once she had gotten so angry at her sister, frustrated at all her attempts to dissuade her from standing up for herself, somewhere around the end of middle school, she accidentally shoved her too hard against something and dislocated her shoulder. She never meant to hurt her own family and believed herself to be a monster. She had been too scared to confront her older sister after that incident but right after her shoulder was fixed, her sister came to her and forgave her instantly. Leigh felt like she didn't deserve such a kind sister but was grateful that she had someone who she could really turn to for help. She started to lay lower after then, behaved more and did as she was told. This, however, only lasted up to high school.

Leigh had mixed in with the wrong crowd, a group of no good teens who pretended to be her friend to use her for the wrong things. They were delinquents, to put lightly, and they would get Leigh to use her strength to steal and prank others. She had been lured into this false sense of security and she didn't see it then but her sister did and worried for her. It was during school break one summer in her sophomore year of high school, Leigh and her group of "friends" were going out to try and prank someone by "towing" their car away. Of course they sweet talked Leigh to use her strength to tow the car but her sister saw what they were planning and tried to stop them before anyone else could alert the authorities. When her sister arrived, the others had already took it to themselves to fight her sister and when Leigh found out, she did the only thing her rage told her to do: tackle the crap out of the one she once considered a friend. There was a slight miscalculation on her end however, she never accounted for the group of teens to actually bare their pocket knives to a bystander and she had tackled the teen from behind, causing Leigh, the teen and her sister to collide backwards into a wall.

All the commotion caused the authorities to be alerted and when the sound of sirens blared, the others scattered hurriedly, leaving Leigh and her sister alone. There was a knife embedded deep in her sister's gut and she was loosing a substantial amount of blood. Leigh held her sister in her arms, screaming for her sister while the sirens got closer. Her sister was desperately telling her to leave her there and run, the scene only made Leigh the only suspect and being a Special meant that her survival was at stake. Leigh tried to carry her sister and run to the nearest hospital but the sounds of footsteps were already starting to get louder. In that moment, her sister used her remaining strength to wriggle out of her hold and telling to go. Leigh grudgingly left, sobbing and whimpering sorry over and over. It was her fault, she knew that much. Letting herself feel like she was finally accepted into a clique instead of being that weird girl everyone avoided.

She couldn't return to her household after all this, she was just a danger to them and she was probably already being targeted. She went home for the last time, packing up whatever she needed and wrote a short note: "I'm sorry I was born like this. I love you guys. -L" And with that, she left. She never heard if her sister had survived or how her parents reacted to the news. She wanted to know but she couldn't risk going back anymore. She then learnt to live off the streets, stealing whatever basic necessity she desperately needed and taking on multiple part time jobs. Years had passed since that incident and she had grown used to the life she forced herself to live. Over those years, she had rented a room, made a decent saving and stayed away from trouble as much as possible (although there had been a few close calls due to her wanting to help out from the sidelines.) She had also grown tired of suppressing herself, it wasn't like she chose to be born like this, she never asked for the responsibility or the big fat target on her face. Now, at the age of 22, she had heard rumors of a rebellion for Specials like her. She had her doubts at first but convinced herself that she had to do something before more innocent lives are taken rightfully over having powers forced upon them.
