I need to work on my colours *haha* ... seriously.But I loved the pose and I always wanted to do a merman and a shipwreck sailor theme. I would like to do another improv sketch work on it, but I think I'll procrastinate again. *sigh*

Damm I love this pic, it's so vibrant!! Not just the colours, but in the love / feeling tween the merman & the human. Maybe it's cos he's rescued him already.. But the merman's expression as he looks at him over his shoulder, whilst his arms round his waist, but his tail curled round his legs seems that there's more..... But then I love, love when it transcends boundary's. Congrats x x

The colors do seem a little off, but still -- love this picture. Their pose and expressions especially, they just look so dang comfortable and cuddly.

The one and only colour choice i don't agree with is the colour of the rocks, but other than that the sky, merman, sailor's pants and everything else is fantastic. I like the composition and the fish are adoreable. Kudos.

I really wish there was a story to accompany this pic (one that had a happy ending... I don't like angst that much). Both the guys are really hot, but I'd think the human guy would be concerned about surviving... still, this is great.

I like to do mer-pieces actually, so this one was really fun.
It was a semi-romantic theme, but I wanted to reinvent the whole MERMAID/sailor theme ... to merman .

I'm a big merpeople fan, I even modeled some in my computer class. This is the first sailor/merman piece I've seen and it's beautiful, better than mst of the sailor/mermaid pieces.
