IThis is a Spring Peeper Pseudacris cruciver
These little guys favorite habitats include open prairie grasslands and woodlands. Just like all amphibians, they favor moist environments and are active mostly during the rainy season.
I donated this painting to the Kansas Herpetological Society. It was auctioned at the annual meeting and the money was donated to the society to help with the costs of different conservation projects.

I absolutely love herpetology. Working with snakes, frogs and salamanders has fueled my fascination with nature over the years.
