I love what you've done with the lighting - the colors aren't very bright, but the atmosphere feels like it. I also like the clarity and the little details you've added (like the rain dripping off the owl's wings).

Oh my dear sweet and fluffy Lord, that is utterly and completely ADORABLE.
The simple concept of the mouse wanting to help the owl and the owl being so pleased by his attempt that it doesn't matter that he's still getting wet.
Not to mention the fact that the style is a clever balance between the cartoonish gestures and features of the animals and the realism of the rain effects.

wow, this is amazing! Adorable concept, and you pulled it off like a pro. My only help is that the reflection on the owl's forehead might be green from the leaf instead of purple, but otherwise this is just stunning. I love those blues.
