Description
One late afternoon, a young man was hosting three of his friends to hang out during a college break. The father of host was a scientist who was working on developing a device that could shrink matter down to a miniscule size, but the prototype device never worked properly. Getting bored as the afternoon was becoming evening, one of the men thought it would be a fun idea to mess with the machine.

"It doesn't work, leave it alone," the son of the father said to the rest of them. After poking around for a bit, the machine started to light up and make noises. "See! It works! Ha!", another said. It was as that time that the machine fired off a bright flash, reducing the four young men to the size of ants. Making matters worse, the machine put off a force so powerful that the four men were thrown through the open door of the room, into the kitchen, landing on the countertop.

Nearly simultaneously, the mother of the hosting young man walked into the kitchen, as she was going to begin to prepare dinner for her family. The young men thought that this would be their chance to be saved, as they figured she would have to see them. Noticing some crumbs on the countertop where she had planned to prepare the food, the mom grabbed a paper towel and proceeded to start to wipe the countertop down.

Having the sudden realization that their situation had just become significantly more precarious, the men began to yell and wave their arms as the mother's eyes seemed to look right at them. As the giant paper towl approached, one of the young men began to run, but it didn't matter. Despite looking right at them, she was wiping the counter down so quickly that the four men went unnoticed as they were wiped up by the giant paper towel, and simply thrown away into the trash can by the unaware mom.
