PROCESS OF:

My stuff is very basic hope it doesn't disappoint anyone weep
I usually just use default pen/airbrush/bucket tool on paint tool sai so there's nothing special HAHA

1. Rough sketch + urhh direction plan??? Hana stated Reverie's associated with the Lyra constellation so I already know that I wanted to go for some sorta diagonal composition to fit the whole thing in

2. Fix some parts (mostly face and clothes) IT'S STILL MESSY BUT HECKK toss bg ideas according to character

3. Lineart! I don't like using black aaaa usually purple blue or sephia : 3c + My lineart's super thin I had to duplicate it 3 times for this process shot RIPPP Also colour block!

4. Base colours! (Bg is grey bc I couldn't see rip me)

5. Urhh adding a million gradients + shading + highlighting. I wanted the "main" colour to be blue, with some purples! And a bit of yellow shines so kinda just went with it. Idk how to explain this it's mostly gut feeling ;;;

6. Add background while screaming for divine salvation + spamming overlays, luminousity, colouring lineart sometimes I toss it onto photoshop for colour balancing aaaa but that's about it????
