can you do the constructicons as devastator (combine the individual figures like the toy [80's version])
and resize the devy head and forearms/hands to fitthe gestalt form?

No, those are simple HAKO models.
There is a movie devestator model that is constructed from parts of the indevidual vehicles.
Note: I only built them, I am not the designer...

YEAH, really fun and amazing. Those remind me of the good old times when I was playing with my Constructicons. I'm gonna have a look in the attic!
