I love love love LOOOOVE Utena and all its romantic and epic scenes! Nevertheless, I decided to use a "more general", "funnier" motif for this crossover (this is more suitable for crossovers I think), even if I could imagine a motif where Kaira Tinami leads nicely over the flowery dance floor ... but I generally associate with Utena - because of the battle scenes - the bright blue sky and the castle in the sky, plus of course a lot of roses! ROSES! ROSES EVERYWHERE! Utena is a very, very great series and I love the designs. And as is the case with all the series that I like very much, there will be a crossover at some point. Tinami and Kaira literally screamed for the roles of Anthy and Utena, even though I had to extend Tinami's hair for Anthy and, frankly, I don't particularly like Anthy.

The title refers in a funny tone to the fact that Anthy is a princess who "always has to be saved" (ha ha) and that I had to imagine how Tinami doesn't find this role so bad - if Kaira the "Prince" is who comes to save her ♥ ~ for those who don't know Utena; the sword that Utena uses in combat has to be pulled out of Anthy's chest / heart every time, so Tinami's chest shines here too. Tinami takes the whole thing a little bit more "chilled" and makes a peace sign xD she knows that she can rely on Kaira haha!

I had my great, great joy in the picture. The sketch, the outlines, the colo - the motif itself. Everything was fun! And isn't Kaira looking good in that uniform?
