Is there any particular reason you shade before you color? I've always done it the other way around, but mayhaps there's some trick or something that makes it easier to do it your way...?

naww, i usually color before i shade too(lazy-mode)...but when i'm in clean-mode, i'll to the shading first...because when there's only 1 color base (like in no 4.) u can see clearly which place u need to apply shading..that's all C":

i'm using Paint Tool SAI, then edit using Photoshop CS5 ^-^
