Theres no ideal Setting wich u can use on all works imo....it allways depends on the Picture itself and what effect u want to create.
Theres just one very importent thing...dont raise the settings too high...it messes ur quality and look up....Its allways good to change the settings just a lil bit...it doesnt matter if u want to smooth or sharp the thing up...make a copy of this layer and use Topaz again...allways use a new layer, because sometimes the settings look good on some parts and at other it looks like crap...than u can allways erase the parts wich looks shitty....so, long speach small sence....allways start with small steps at the beginning...after a while u will get an feeling for the effect of Topaz and then u dont need that much layers to get what u wanted....keep it up and good luck mate
