Now that is what I call a MACRO shot...........amazing depth of colour, extremes of texture, chaotic lines expanding and contracting with power and delicacy all in one.
The hairs to the top of the photo are almost unreal, they seem synthetic and not in keeping with the tiny ovals of pattern. Like putting together a 1960s outfit to WOW.
The subtleties of colour and its use by nature often astounds me. Here the smudge of red and the rivulets of yellow compliment well the black, white and stone colour.
The butterfly kingdom must be singing at your accomplishments and hope now those who see them will not touch them.......for the tiny ovals fall away like a dust on touch.
Are you patient person or did you come across this beauty on your travels ?

I especially liked your 1960s outfit observation
I can't speak for myself about that, but others say I'm a patient person. I've met this one on a chili morning and spent about an hour shooting it, its name in hebrew is 'Translucent Colorful', and this is its caterpillar
