Companion piece to the Contrasting Chameleon. Inspired by ursulav.Acrylics and coloured pencils on aquarell paper (lovely texture). A3.

It does look like the texture was wonderful to work with to craft such an interesting piece of artwork.

It was - this is very thick paper, with a kind of crossweave texture. You can see it in the more-or-less dry blending from yellow to red above the blue/green panels.
But, seriously, never again will I rush headlong into such an intricate piece. Next time, I shall think before I settle on a design. I had cramps after the snake was finally coloured. Argh.
