The issue is that you decided not to elaborate your comment. Saying under a piece of art just 'nasty' tells nothing. The artist (or anyone else for that matter) has no idea whether you find the topic nasty, or the technique or whatever. Even if you don't support homosexual rights (that's your opinion and I respect that), you can't deny that this artist has talent, e.g. the way Aragorn's hair is done is simply wonderful and realistic. Just because you don't agree with the content doesn't make the whole drawing crap.
Yes, this is public website and you have the right to share your opinion. However, that also means that people will see your comment, most likely people who ship Aragorn and Legolas, given that it is under AragornxLegolas picture. Therefore the comment (intentionally or not) probably will provoke some response. It's like going on a concert and then screaming that you hate the band, resulting in unnecessary conflict. What is the point? It seems to me that the real question is if it's worth it to voice your opinion in such way on such place in the first place.

Still, it doesn't make any sense! If you don't like something, or if it offends you, why would you CHOOSE to look at it, and then reply to someone who likes it saying your opinion? I mean come on. It's just common sense. If you don't like shellfish, don't eat it. If you don't like this particular ship, why even look? You're just asking for attention, and drama.

I'll have you know, I'm not a little boy. All I'm saying is that if you don't care for something, don't post your opinion of it on a place where lots of people are drooling over it. That's incredibly rude and you're just looking for a debate. I understand you have your opinions, and you have a right to those opinions. But don't go around insulting this artist, or any artist for that matter. This person put lots of time, and effort into this, and they put it online not knowing how people would react, hoping they would get some positive feedback. We're ALL artists here on this site, and we need to support and encourage each other to do what we all love. That's why most if us joined this site. So we can have a type of escape and let our creations inspire people. If your sole purpose is just to go around saying what you like or don't like, I pity you. You should know better than to hurt or offend other people just because you can. That's shameful, and quite frankly pathetic. I think this artist did an amazing job on this piece, even if it were Gimili and Gandalf kissing.

I am not insulting the artist but his/her pathetic depiction like the cross in urine. Your right I do have a right of a opinion and I stated it: nasty. There I did it again. So little boy it is not I that is pathetic, but indeed you are. So many drooling over it and yet I find it digusting but seemingly I am the am seeking attention; no attention is given to me. I am not a little boy. I am a woman and a MOTHER. And I hate thinking that my child may one day take risks and put something out there and the horrid people like you will do nothing but make her feel worthless. I don't understand why you said 'two daddies'. That was stupid. I support gay rights and I think a piece of art like this is gorgeous. I'll say it again, gorgeous. So excuse me for just trying to stand up for all of us. Because we all have one thing in common if we're on this site: We like to create. And you obviously are just a close-minded old man that can't handle a piece of work with two men staring lovingly into each others eyes, or respect the artist by holding your tongue. What would your mother think if she saw you bashing someone's hard piece of work that they put a lot into? If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. Did she teach you that? You should stick to that saying, get the long stick out of your ass, and try being a little more polite and nice. If everyone just used a little more empathy, this would be such a better world. But there will always be rude, horrid people like you that won't even listen to other people trying to tell you to chill out, it's just a drawing, and you shouldn't be so harsh. My child will be raised around creativity, manners, and love. All kinds of love. I pity you, sir. And I hope you learn to use empathy and compassion or you will lead a very lonely life. I will no longer reply to such a hateful, mean person.

Yes they show that in the extended edition behind the scenes. They caught him kissing Billy Boyd. On the mouth. and NOT accidentally. And I think they said he kissed about four or five males of the nine fellows.
