I've worked on this during all May (exams in the middle). It was my first time designing a dress and it was hard, even if it sounds stupid. And now, I've stared at the design for such a long time that I don't know if I like it. What I do like is the outcome: it's my first time coloring such a quantity of folds, so it was an excellent practice and I like the way I coloured her chest.
Even though, at this point, I think the dress might look ridiculous in the ball... I guess that while I was looking for references, my head mixed the concept of the masquerade ball with concept of the Venetian Carnival. They're related in some way, but I think I went too far
Anyway, due to recent events in a certain RP (
), Samira won't be attending the ball. Too bad Sammy, better luck next time... either way, anyone would have recognized you with your two-colored hair I so wanted to finish this before June

I reallylike the pattern design on her gloves and that color gradient on her corsage tht blue fades into purple .... just wonderful *-*

The folds were hard to achieve, especially because I never paint clothes with a big quantity of folds and stuff. And thank you very much for noticing the purple gradient, it was my first time experimenting something like that so I'm glad that it turned out pretty

The curls looked better before applying the color filters, but I'm glad to know they still look cool!
And really, there's no problem with that. I just started to create this dress to do something that pushes me violently out of my comfort zone but I have never had real plans for her in the ball, everything depended on what course the RP took, that's why it's so interesting, excting and funny. If RPs didn't influence our charas lives, they would be pointless. And if I had wanted to make her go, I would have told you... or would have written something like 'And Samira recovered her dagger, scaped and went to the ball. THE NEXT MORNING..."
But who knows, maybe Samira ends up dancing with Helena at the ball *shot*
And it would have been awesome if Jet had had the opportunity to burn her dress
